Before returning the shipment to us, please contact us first so we can provide a more detailed procedure for your specific situation.
We will accept returns within 7 days if the item is returned in the same condition as it was shipped.
If the item is defective or incorrectly listed, a replacement, or refund if a replacement is unavailable, will be provided to the buyer upon our receipt of the returned product.
If item is returned due to buyer remorse or for reasons other than those previously mentioned, we will disburse a partial refund less shipping costs and a restocking fee of 10% of the total order upon receipt of the returned product.
It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure that the item is returned to us in its original condition. This may include, but is not limited to:
leaving the box and original packing materials unopened;
purchasing insurance, tracking confirmation, and/or signature confirmation; and
reinforcing the original package with other packing materials.
In some instances, we may create a return label with insurance and signature confirmation that may be partially or fully deducted from the refund, depending on the final evaluation of the returned product.
Receiving a Damaged Item
The customer must first contact us before returning the shipment so that we may determine the best course of action in filing an insurance claim with the courier service.
All packages must be returned to us in their original packaging. If the original packaging is too damaged to safely transport the merchandise, the customer must enclose the original package in new materials (e.g. a box that encloses both the microscope with its styrofoam box and exterior cardboard box).
We may request further information from the customer to complete the claims process, such as requiring a phone number, pictures of the damaged item upon original receipt of the package, etc. If the customer does not fully cooperate in facilitating the claims process, we will be unable to provide a refund upon receipt of the item.
